I have lived in the small coastal town of San Clemente, California for the past 23 years. Although I consider myself a Californian, having lived here for over 30 years, I am an Easterner at heart, born and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania. I am married to a native Californian and he has been my rock–the person who has supported me and encouraged me most to pursue my dreams.

Establishing HEART REMINDERS® was a giant leap of faith for me. After spending most of my life working in the conventional business world, I decided to pursue a more creative career. I believe that all my life experiences; the things that have molded me and transformed me, have been God’s work preparing me for this artistic journey.

I have always had a love of greeting cards. I love buying and sending them, and more than anything, I love receiving them. HEART REMINDERS® was born out of the love for this medium of correspondence. Since making cards began with Christmas cards, and in particular Christmas postcards, this is the area I pursued first.

My love of photography and proximity to the beach, allowed me to create something original and unique to my humor. Capturing “Santa” (who happens to be my husband in most instances) at the beach, seems to lend itself to all kinds of interesting situations.
