reads: “Ready for it's initial marketing blitz, Heart Reminders
offers 70 “greeted postcards“ for various occasions
including Christmas. Tiger Claus has a reindeer-like caption on
the front: “Now Birdie, now Bogey, no Eagle and Chip-in...On
Sink, on Par, on Lay-up and Tap-in!” As Santa in short sleeves
practices his golf swing. He's one of the 10 Santa postcards included
in this new line being sold by the revamped Quantity Postcards.
Photographed by Suzie Fernandez, the cards are glossy, white-bOrdered
and continental-sized. Some have captions on both the front and
back while others have heart-felt sentiments on the reverse side
only. Categories match up with what might be found in a Hallmark
store such as birthdays and anniversaries, friendship (one of
these pictures an outhouse), new babies, apologies, retirement,
and encouragement. Some feature animals so there's a goat for
Lou, a frog for Cathi and a squirrel for me.” |
